About planteet

planteet was born out of a question: what if caring for your body could also care for the earth?

this brand started with a deep curiosity about ancient rituals  and a desire to return to a slower, more intentional way of living. while searching for sustainable wellness tools, we found ourselves drawn to the miswak stick. a simple, natural tool used for centuries to clean teeth, nourish gums, and promote overall health  long before plastic brushes and synthetic toothpaste took over.

but planteet isn’t just about a product. it’s about remembering what came before us and creating something better for what comes next.

we built planteet for people who want to live with more purpose. for those who read ingredient labels. who care about what goes into their mouth and what ends up in landfills. who understand that oral care isn’t just about a white smile  it’s about gut health, immune function, and full-body wellness.

we prioritize the mouth because it’s where health starts. and we prioritize the planet because we can’t separate our personal wellness from the world we live in.

this is for the mindful. the rooted. the curious. the ones who ask, “what did we do before plastic?” and want to build something better after it.

planteet is not perfect — but it is intentional. and it’s just the beginning.

from tasnim

Hi guys! :) i’m tasnim aka taz— the founder of planteet.

this all started because i wanted something simple and natural to take care of myself without all the plastic, chemicals, or overcomplicated routines. i was looking for something that felt familiar something that actually made sense. that’s when i came back to the miswak.

i grew up around cultural practices that didn’t always show up on shelves. the miswak has been used for generations, and it just felt right to bring it forward in a way that’s modern, clean, and thoughtful. i didn’t want to just sell a product i wanted to create something that respects where we come from and supports where we’re going.

planteet is for people who care about their body, their habits, their planet. it’s not about being perfect. it’s about being intentional. and i’m so glad you’re here for the journey.
